Indoor Air Quality Testing

We have been undertaking complex air quality surveys since 1999, and have a wide range of skills and knowledge in this field, backed up with the experience of numerous surveys in many diverse environments.

Testing and analysis is undertaken to exacting standards to detect, where necessary, pollutant levels far below the detection limit of normal occupational health / air quality compliance surveys. We offer testing services for both commercial and domestic properties:

Offices - Sick Buildings Syndrome
We provide a comprehensive surveying, testing and reporting service for suspect and problem buildings. The following range of testing services is offered to back up the report and qualify/quantify problem conditions :

Dust and particulate levels
Volatile organic compond screening
Semivolatile organics screening
Pesticides and wood treatments
Formaldehyde
Asbestos
Structual moisture
Mould and bacterial spores
Biological debris including skin cells, mould fragments
Temperature and humidity
Light levels
HVAC condition assessment/duct contamination

Residential
We offer a fixed price survey for private residential properties. The basic fee includes :

Inspection of the materials comprising the building structure and contents
Risk assessment of the materials found
B
asic testing including temprature/humidity, structural moisture
Full report of the findings with recommendations

After discussion of the initial findings and the likely level of risk, the following parameters may be tested during the survey at the request of the client :

Volatile organic compond screening
Semivolatile organics screening
Pesticides and wood treatments
Formaldehyde
Asbestos
Mould and bacterial spores
Biological debris including skin cells, mould fragments
Dust mite levels

The basic domestic survey is offered across most areas of the UK for a fixed fee of £235 (inc VAT). We reserve the right to charge travel expenses if the location is difficult to get to or requires overnight accomodation, and will agree this with you before commencing the work.

Extra analysis, carried out at the request of the client, ranges from £20 for asbestos through to £175 for complex volatile organic screenings.
